• The assistant says it has no AutoBacklinks tools. In Claude and ChatGPT the connector must be switched on inside the chat, not only added in Settings. In Claude Code, run /mcp and check the server shows as connected.
• A tool you read about is missing, or an old field is still shown. Clients cache the tool list. Disconnect and reconnect the connector, or start a new session in a CLI client.
• Sign in with AutoBacklinks fails or loops. Make sure you are signed in to the same AutoBacklinks account in your browser, then try the connection again. Pop-up blockers can stop the sign-in window.
• Calls fail with unauthorized after a while. The sign-in expired. Reconnect the connector; your data is unchanged.
• A call is refused with approval_required. The assistant did not pass an approval, or the live estimate grew. It should quote the new number and ask again. If it keeps failing, say the number yourself: approve 300 credits.
• A call is refused with rate_limited. The connection hit its per-minute or daily limit. The error says when to retry.
• It cannot see one of my websites. The connection sees the websites your account owns or collaborates on. Check the site is in your dashboard under the same account you signed in with.
