Mailbox warmup is included for free with every connected mailbox. It sends and responds to warmup conversations that help a new or quiet mailbox build a more natural sending history before you increase outreach.
What users should know
- Warmup is useful for a new mailbox or one that has not sent regularly
- You can enable warmup while connecting the mailbox
- Warmup runs separately from campaign outreach and can continue on days when no outreach is sent
- The mailbox row shows whether warmup is on, off, or blocked
- When available, it also shows warmup reputation and the previous seven days of sent and spam activity
- Warmup improves sending history gradually; it does not guarantee inbox placement
Use mailbox warmup
- 01
Enable warmup during connection
Leave Warm up this mailbox turned on when setting up a new or inactive address. The mailbox starts warming after the connection is completed.
- 02
Check the warmup status
Open Settings → Mailboxes. The mailbox row shows its connection and warmup status. A blocked status includes the reason when one is available.

Use the mailbox row to confirm that warmup is active and monitor its recent activity. - 03
Increase outreach gradually
There is no universal number of days that makes a mailbox ready. Give a new address time to establish normal activity, monitor replies and spam signals, and avoid suddenly sending a large campaign.
Common questions
- Does warmup cost extra? No. It is included free with each connected mailbox.
- Does warmup use campaign credits? No campaign research or writing credits are used for warmup.
- Should an established mailbox use warmup? It can still help when the mailbox has been inactive or has little recent sending history.
- Can outreach run while warmup is active? Yes. Warmup and campaign outreach are separate activities.
- Does a high warmup reputation guarantee delivery? No. Message quality, list quality, authentication, provider limits, and recipient behavior also affect delivery.
- What should I do if warmup is blocked? Review the reason shown beside the mailbox, confirm the mailbox is still connected, and contact support if the status does not recover.
